Conflict Dynamics Profile (CDP)

The Conflict Dynamics Profile is one of the self-awareness instruments that we use for leadership development, executive coaching and conflict resolution in organizations.

The Conflict Dynamics Profile, an assessment instrument dealing with conflict behaviors in the workplace, provides a powerful way to improve self-awareness of what triggers conflict in individuals as well as how they respond to conflict. CDP is founded upon years of academic research and measures both constructive and destructive conflict resolution behavioral responses in individuals.

Two versions of the instrument – the CDP-Individual (CDP-I) and CDP-360 – provide practical solutions for promoting more effective conflict resolution. Based on these triggers and responses, the Conflict Dynamics Profile then provides practical approaches for improving behaviors that promote more effective workplace conflict resolution.

The two instruments can be effectively combined in organizations.Typically, the CDP-360 is used with managers and executives and the CDP-I is used with supervisors and other employees. Since both instruments are based on the same model and use the same vocabulary, people are able to communicate more effectively with each other, regardless of which version they have taken.
